Justin Vaïsse

Justin Vaïsse is a French historian. He specialises in International relations, notably French and US politics and foreign policy; neoconservatism; integration of Islam in Europe; and transatlantic relations. [1]

Biography

Vaïsse holds an agregation and a PhD in History.

In 1996 and 1997, Vaïsse studied at the History Department of Harvard University. In 1998 and 1999, he edited speeches for the French Minister of Defence.

He currently teaches US history at the Institut d'études politiques in Paris.

Vaïsse is Senior Fellow in Foreign Policy at the Centre on the United States and Europe of the Brookings Institution, [1] and a member of the Observatory on the USA at the Chaire Raoul-Dandurand en études stratégiques et diplomatiques.

His father is prominent historian Maurice Vaïsse.
